           The Galveston Immigrant Database lists the Fiedlers as having arrived there on December 15, 1849 from Hamburg, Prussia aboard the Hamburg-Knollton. They were headed for Fayette Co.

           They were listed as:  Georg(34)(a mason by profession), Wilhelmine(23), Amelie(5), and Frederick(2).

 

           On July 23, 1860, George(40) lived in the Plum Grove Pct of Fayette Co. [25-154] with his wife Wilhemina(35) and their children Amaline(17), Janey???(9), Mary(6), Theresa(4), and Gustoff(1).
